CHOCOLATE AVOCADO
MOUSSE
Chocolate avocado mousse is my new favorite dessert not just because its decadent and chocolaty but for the amazing health benefits of avocados. I’ve been seeing chocolate avocado mousse recipe all over the internet and finally an extremely tempting picture on pinterest made me try this recipe.
Chocolate
avocado mousse is a great healthy alternative to the regular chocolate mousse
which contains eggs, heavy cream and loads of sugar!!!
Avocado
is a super food; 100% cholesterol-free, contributes nearly 20 vitamins,
minerals and phytonutrients.
It is a great
desert which even vegans can enjoy.
Preparation
Time :
8 to 10 minutes
Serves : 2
Ingredients:
1 fully ripened avocado
3 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa
powder
1/4th cup honey
or agave
½ tsp vanilla extract
1/4th cup soy
milk or milk of your choice
A pinch of salt
Method:
In a blender add scraped
avocado flesh, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, milk, salt and blend until
creamy.
Add more milk if required and
blend again. (Add more honey if required)
Transfer the cream to serving
bowls and garnish it with berries, grated chocolate, nut’s or directly dig in
like I did!!! ;-)
