GARLIC ROSEMARY
FLAX SEEDS CRACKERS
There are certain times during the day when you feel peckish and it is
not meal time, what do you do??? Grab a pack of chips, farsan, chat or
basically anything which is in hands reach and which necessarily is not very
healthy. I always face this issue and
sometimes I go hungry for long hours just to avoid eating unhealthy stuff.
Off late I have been seeing raw vegan instagrammers posting pictures of flax
seeds crackers which were crunchy and crisp, so I had to try it. Since, I am not a raw vegan I simply baked
the crackers instead of dehydrating.
Making flax seeds crackers is much easier to make than I thought it
would be. The basic recipe calls for
three major ingredients flax seeds, little salt and water. This recipe is so flexible that you can add
your choice of flavorings like garlic, Italian herbs, Parmesan cheese, chat masala or even green chilli garlic paste; all the flavors taste excellent.
Garlic rosemary flax seeds
crackers are awesome; healthy (rich in omega 3), delicious
and easy!!! And of course vegan, gluten free and sugar free.

Baking Time : 25 minutes
Yields : 20
crackers
Ingredients:
·
2/3 cup flax seeds
·
1 tsp granulated garlic
·
½ tsp dried rosemary
·
Salt to taste
·
7 to 8 tbsp water
Method:
Blend
flax seeds to make a coarse powder.
In
a mixing bowl add flax seeds meal, salt, granulated garlic, rosemary and water. Let the mix rest for 15 minutes so the mixture
gets clumpy.
Preheat
the oven for 10 minutes at 180 C.
Cover
the baking tray with parchment/butter paper.
Spread
the flax seeds mixture thin and evenly.
Gently
score/cut the flax seeds cracker mix into square or rectangular strips. This helps in snapping the crackers after
baking.
Bake
for 15 minutes at 180 C on one side and bake on other side for 10 more minutes
or until the crisp.
Enjoy garlic rosemary flax seeds crackers with any dip of your choice.
