APPLE GUJIYA
RECIPE
Apple Gujiya is a fruity twist to the traditional Gujias. Apple Gujiyas are
crispy, deep fried pastry stuffed with apples delicately flavored with cinnamon
and cardamom along with desiccated coconut and walnuts. Apple Gujiya makes
an excellent festive treat. The Apple Gujiya Recipe is very
similar to the traditional Gujia except the unique apple filling. Instead of
traditional mawa filling, an off-beat cinnamon flavored apple filling is being
used for the Apple Gujiya Recipe. The stuffing for the Apple
Gujiya is inspired from that of an apple pie and it is a pleasant
change from the regular Mawa Gujiyas.
On any festive occasion, you can try this unconventional apple gujia
recipe and surprise your loved ones. Apple Gujiya is another
innovative take on the traditional Gujiya Recipe.

To make the gujiya dough,
knead stiff dough with maida, ghee, baking soda and salt using little water. Cover and rest the dough for half an hour.
